                               RESOLUTION NO. 18704
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF 
                   TWO THOUSAND (2,000) FEET OF EIGHT INCH (8") 
                   WATER MAIN AND TWO (2) FIRE HYDRANTS FOR 
                   PUBLIC FIRE PROTECTION AT PATTEN CHAPEL ROAD 
                   MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND 
                   AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF THE TARIFF THEREFOR.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
                   
              	   BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the installation of 2,000 feet of 
         eight inch (8") water main and two (2) fire hydrants for public 
         fire protection at Patten Chapel Road be and is hereby 
         authorized at locations listed as follows:
              	   1.	The water main will be installed beginning 
              at the most northern intersection at Browns Ferry Road 
              south to a termination point of 2,000 feet.
              	   2.	Two (2) fire hydrants are to be installed at 
              1,000 foot intervals.
              	   BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that payment of the tariff to 
         the Tennessee-American Water Company be and is hereby 
         authorized.
